Analizando la reuni\u00f3n Kim- Trump\u201d.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">En la ocasi\u00f3n, participaron del panel de conversaci\u00f3n Fernando Schmidt, Investigador del CERI, Soonbae Kim, Investigador del Programa de Estudios Coreanos de la U. Central, y Constanza Jorquera, Investigadora Asociada del Centro de Estudios Coreanos IDEA- USACH. Guido Larson, Coordinador General del Instituto de Humanidades, moder\u00f3 el conversatorio.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">La actividad, que convoc\u00f3 a un gran n\u00famero de asistentes, permiti\u00f3 discutir la hist\u00f3rica reuni\u00f3n entre el l\u00edder de Corea del Norte, Kim Jong Un, y el Presidente de Estados Unidos, Donald Trump, llevada a cabo el 12 de junio.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Para el profesor Soonbae Kim result\u00f3 tremendamente valorable la recientemente celebrada cumbre, al afirmar que \u201cllevamos 60 a\u00f1os de conflicto, esto se demora, no va a mejorar de un d\u00eda al otro, pero ya estamos avanzando\u201d. A ra\u00edz de lo anterior, Fernando Schmidt advirti\u00f3: \u00abel riesgo ahora es que este encuentro fracase. La Cumbre Presidencial es la \u00faltima instancia para resolver conflictos, si no resulta, pueden llegar a la guerra\u00bb.
