Scientific Reports, 10(1), 1-13.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Resumen<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>El deterioro de la Memoria de Trabajo (MT) es el d\u00e9ficit cognitivo m\u00e1s com\u00fan de los pacientes con Esclerosis M\u00faltiple (EM). Sin embargo, la evidencia de sus mecanismos neurobiol\u00f3gicos es escasa. Aqu\u00ed registramos la actividad electroencefalogr\u00e1fica de veinte pacientes con EM recurrente-remitente y un d\u00e9ficit cognitivo m\u00ednimo, y de 20 sujetos sanos de control (HC) mientras resolv\u00edan una tarea de la MT. A pesar de un rendimiento similar, el grupo de HC demostr\u00f3 una correlaci\u00f3n entre la actividad theta temporoparietal y la carga de memoria, y una correlaci\u00f3n entre la actividad theta frontal medial y los rendimientos de memoria exitosos. Los pacientes con EM no mostraron estas correlaciones, lo que provoc\u00f3 diferencias significativas entre los grupos. Adem\u00e1s, los an\u00e1lisis de conectividad cortical utilizando la causalidad de Granger y el acoplamiento de fase-amplitud entre theta y gamma revelaron que el grupo HC, pero no el grupo MS, present\u00f3 una progresi\u00f3n modulada por la carga de la conectividad frontal-parietal. Esta conectividad se correlacion\u00f3 con la capacidad de memoria de trabajo en los grupos de EM.
