Tamara Yaikin Calder\u00f3n, the Center’s project coordinator, has just obtained a Master’s degree in Sociology from Pontificia Universidad Cat\u00f3lica, with a project that analyzes the phenomenon of migration from the perspective of the inclusion of migrant children in the current Chilean school system.<\/p>\n

Tamara presented her thesis before a commission presided over by the Director of the Institute of Sociology at PUC, Eduardo Valenzuela, who held the same position as the Director of CICS, Carlos Rodr\u00edguez-Sickert, when he was the head master of that house of studies.<\/p>\n

At the moment, Tamara, besides managing the Center’s investigation and transfer projects, is academically contributing to several projects of the Center which are related to her specialized line of study.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
