{"id":324,"date":"2017-01-20T13:28:48","date_gmt":"2017-01-20T16:28:48","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gobierno.udd.cl\/doctorado\/2017\/01\/20\/oxford-researcher-joins-as-cics-international-fellow\/"},"modified":"2017-01-20T13:28:48","modified_gmt":"2017-01-20T16:28:48","slug":"oxford-researcher-joins-as-cics-international-fellow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gobierno.udd.cl\/doctorate\/2017\/01\/20\/oxford-researcher-joins-as-cics-international-fellow\/","title":{"rendered":"Oxford Researcher joins as CICS International Fellow"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/dccs.udd.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/tamas.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"227\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1531\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Tamas David-Barret, researcher from the Social and Evolutionary Neuroscience Research Group (SENRG) led by Robin Dunbar at Oxford, is incorporated as the latest International Fellow of the Social Complexity Research Center.<\/p>\n<p>Tamas, besides co-publishing in joint work with CICS researchers, is currently working on a kind network group project with Carlos Rodr\u00edguez-Sickert, Director of the Research Center; Loreto Bravo, Director of the University&#8217;s Data Science Institute; and Isabel Behncke who belongs to both CICS and SENRG.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, he will visit Chile for the second time in January to participate as a spokesman in the Congress of the Future and as supervisor of students in the 2017 CICS-MIT research camp called B4 &#8211; Bits, Bots, Brain and Behavioral &#8211; to be held in Valpara\u00edso between January 9 and 30.<\/p>\n<p>David-Barret is an economist at the University of London and a postgraduate from Oxford focused on the study of human group behavior, with special interest in behavioral synchrony dynamics, the impact of evolutionary aspects on sociability, and agent modeling.<\/p>\n<p>He is currently a tutor and Fellow in Economics at Trinity College Oxford, and in addition to his anthropological work, also publishes in the area of \u200b\u200beconomics and network analysis.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>He is currently a tutor and Fellow in Economics at Trinity College Oxford, and in addition to his anthropological work, also publishes in the area of \u200b\u200beconomics and network analysis.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":327,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[3],"tags":[267,306,477,563,599,631],"class_list":["post-324","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-news","tag-evolutionary-en","tag-group-en","tag-neuroscience-en","tag-research-en","tag-social-en","tag-tamas-david-barret-en"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.9 -
