Esta semana, el investigador del CICS, estuvo presentando en la <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www2019.thewebconf.org\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Web Conference 2019<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> en San Francisco, Estados Unidos, su trabajo <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/arxiv.org\/abs\/1810.03676\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The Higher Education Space, connecting degree programs from applicants&#8217; choices<\/span><\/i><\/a><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">cuyo \u00e9xito fue tal que, tras la exposici\u00f3n, un equipo de la empresa LinkedIn &#8211; del departamento <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/economicgraph.linkedin.com\/\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Economic Graph Analytics<\/span><\/i><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> &#8211; se puso en contacto con Candia para una posible colaboraci\u00f3n, e indagar en la forma de mapear el mercado laboral de manera similar y entender la brecha entre educaci\u00f3n superior y mercado laboral. <\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Asimismo, la hoja de ruta contempla el trabajo con Javier Pulgar, estudiante de Doctorado en Educaci\u00f3n de la <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">University of California Santa Barbara<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, con quien trabaja en c\u00f3mo potenciar la cooperaci\u00f3n en salas de clases y estudiar la manera en que distintos patrones de interacci\u00f3n impactan el \u00e9xito acad\u00e9mico. Del mismo modo, ambos desarrollan un cap\u00edtulo para un libro de an\u00e1lisis de redes sociales en Latinoam\u00e9rica, cuya fecha de publicaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 contemplada para fines de 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">El recorrido sigue con un viaje a Boston la semana entrante, para trabajar con C\u00e9sar \u00a0Hidalgo en el MIT; se les unir\u00e1 el director el Centro de Investigaci\u00f3n en Complejidad Social, Carlos Rodr\u00edguez-Sickert, para el desarrollo de un art\u00edculo relacionado a la cooperaci\u00f3n y la reciprocidad en las escuelas primarias. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">La traves\u00eda concluye en Burlington, Vermont, en donde Candia es organizador del congreso sat\u00e9lite <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/view\/netsci4sg\/home\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Network Science for Social Good<\/span><\/i><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> en conjunto con Unicef (del 27 al 31 de mayo).
