The newly admitted students will be awarded scholarships covering enrollment fees, tuition and living expenses that will allow their full-time dedication to the program, and will facilitate their early insertion into multidisciplinary research teams.<\/p>\n<p>The PhD program in Social Complexity formally begins its activities in August, and is currently awaiting its first generation of students.<\/p>\n<p>Our PhD candidates are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Cristi\u00e1n Candia<\/b>, B.Sc. in Physics and M. Sc. in Science, Universidad de Concepci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0<b>Jarnish Beltr\u00e1n<\/b>, PhD in Mathematical Sciences, Universidad de Santiago de Chile.<\/li>\n<li><b>Jorge Castillo<\/b>, B.Sc. Mathematical Engineering, Universidad de Concepci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<li><b>V\u00edctor Landaeta<\/b>, B.Sc. Physics, Pontificia Universidad Cat\u00f3lica de Chile.<\/li>\n<li><b>Sammy Drobny<\/b>, B.Sc. Political Science and History, Pontificia Universidad Cat\u00f3lica de Chile (PUC).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We congratulate our future students and wish them success in the challenges ahead.
