Los autores son los investigadores del Centro de Investigaci\u00f3n en Complejidad Social (CICS), <\/span><b>Ricardo Guzm\u00e1n Price<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (PhD en econom\u00eda) y <\/span><b>Carlos Rodr\u00edguez-Sickert<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (PhD en econom\u00eda), junto con el estudiante del Doctorado en Ciencias de la Complejidad Social, <\/span><b>Sammy Drobny<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. El art\u00edculo reporta un modelo espacial basado en agentes acerca de la aparici\u00f3n y proliferaci\u00f3n de sociedades complejas premodernas (socialmente estratificadas) en un mundo habitado inicialmente por sociedades simples (igualitarias). JASSS es la revista m\u00e1s importante del area de simulaciones computacionales de sistemas sociales y entre las mejores de ciencias sociales interdisciplinarias.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Guzm\u00e1n, Rodr\u00edguez-Sickert y Drobny formalizan matem\u00e1ticamente varias teor\u00edas propuestas por soci\u00f3logos, antrop\u00f3logos e historiadores, y las integran un mismo modelo de simulaci\u00f3n.
