Este viernes fue el d\u00eda de cierre del 24\u00b0Congreso Mundial de la Sociedad de Etolog\u00eda Humana que, por segunda vez, lleg\u00f3 a Sudam\u00e9rica tras recorrer varios pa\u00edses, como Italia, Estados Unidos, Viena, entre otros. <\/span><\/p>\n

En la jornada de hoy, tanto el CICS como el DCCS estuvieron muy bien representados por la destacada investigadora y primat\u00f3loga, Isabel Behncke quien, adem\u00e1s, form\u00f3 parte del Comit\u00e9 Organizador. Su presentaci\u00f3n llamada “From play in wild bonobos to festivals in both Neolithic and Contemporary humans”, tuvo una gran afluencia de p\u00fablico y numerosas preguntas de la audiencia.<\/span><\/p>\n

La investigadora, quien vivi\u00f3 3 a\u00f1os en la Rep\u00fablica Democr\u00e1tica del Congo, \u00c1frica, y desarroll\u00f3 2 mil horas de observaci\u00f3n para llevar a cabo esta investigaci\u00f3n, se centr\u00f3 en la parte l\u00fadica de las personas maduras, pregunt\u00e1ndose el porqu\u00e9 participan en este comportamiento de juego cuando ya han terminado su desarrollo. Para encontrar una respuesta, estudi\u00f3 las conductas de los primates y sus similitudes con los humanos, llegando a analizar el <\/span>comportamiento de juego de los bonobos que, en sus palabras, se\u00f1ala que \u201cno solo son una de las especies m\u00e1s l\u00fadicas, sino tambi\u00e9n nuestro pariente vivo m\u00e1s cercano\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

El estudio realizado por Isabel Behncke dio cuenta de que tanto la conducta como el juego del \u00a0Bonobo tienen importantes implicaciones \u201cpara nuestra comprensi\u00f3n de la evoluci\u00f3n humana, y en particular el rol que tienen las emociones positivas sobresalientes sobre la creatividad y la conexi\u00f3n social\u201d, como se experimenta durante las celebraciones y festivales en humanos. Behncke finaliz\u00f3 con un an\u00e1lisis sobre el papel que tienen los festivales en los tiempos modernos y neol\u00edticos en los humanos.<\/span><\/p>\n
