{"id":1799,"date":"2018-08-20T20:06:05","date_gmt":"2018-08-20T20:06:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dccs.udd.cl\/?p=1799"},"modified":"2018-08-20T20:06:05","modified_gmt":"2018-08-20T20:06:05","slug":"dccs-students-took-part-in-the-24th-annual-meeting-of-the-organization-for-human-brain-mapping-in-singapore","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gobierno.udd.cl\/doctorate\/2018\/08\/20\/dccs-students-took-part-in-the-24th-annual-meeting-of-the-organization-for-human-brain-mapping-in-singapore\/","title":{"rendered":"DCCS students took part in the Annual Meeting of the Organization for Human Brain Mapping in Singapore"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0\u00a0<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1804 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/dccs.udd.cl\/files\/2018\/08\/WhatsApp-Image-2018-08-20-at-11.33.16-300x169.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"169\" \/>The DCCS students, Gabriela Valdebenito Oyarzo and Mar\u00eda Paz Mart\u00ednez Molina, both of the Generation 2016, had an outstanding participation in the Annual Meeting of the Organization for Human Brain Mapping, held from 17 to June 21, 2018, in the city of Singapore, Singapore.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Valdebenito presented &#8220;Unmasking reciprocity: Frontomedial negativity underlying the integration of outcomes and intentions in trust-repayment behavior&#8221;, showing the results of her research unit called &#8220;Posterior Parental Cortex encodes prediction error during decision-making under ambiguity&#8221;, as part of the FONDECYT 1140535 project.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On the other hand, Mart\u00ednez showed her work &#8220;Theta activity training in lateral prefrontal cortex increases proactive cognitive control&#8221;, linked to proactive cognitive control.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Dr. Mauricio Asp\u00e9-S\u00e1nchez, of the DCCS 2015 generation, presented his research on &#8220;Unmasking reciprocity: Frontomedial negativity underlying the integration of outcomes\u00a0and intentions in trust-repayment behavior&#8221;, using the investment game and the dictator game, in order to define what the role of altruism and reciprocity is in making social decisions.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-1803 size-medium alignright\" style=\"text-align: justify\" src=\"http:\/\/dccs.udd.cl\/files\/2018\/08\/WhatsApp-Image-2018-08-20-at-11.33.15-300x225.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The conference was also attended by the PhD. in Medical Sciences, Pablo Billeke and PhD. Francisco Zamorano, specialist in neuroscience, both researchers from the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Research\u00a0 Center for Social Complexity (CICS, as its Spanish acronym). Zamorano presented his work &#8220;Dorsolateral prefrontal theta oscillations reflect contextual cognitive impairment in ADHD&#8221;. Dr. Pablo Billeke Bobadilla, spoke about &#8220;Cause role of temporo-parietal brain oscillatory activity in social bargaining&#8221;, which is also part of the FONDECYT 11140535 project.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This ceremony seeks to be a meeting place to give and receive updated information about the human brain mapping, as well as being an opportunity for both re<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">searchers and experts from around the world to have an instance for feedback.
