Nature human behaviour, 5(1), 159-169.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Resumen<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>En los \u00faltimos 10 a\u00f1os, el modelo de valencia-dominancia de Oosterhof y Todorov ha surgido como la explicaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s destacada de c\u00f3mo las personas eval\u00faan las caras en las dimensiones sociales. En este modelo, dos dimensiones (valencia y dominancia) sustentan los juicios sociales de las caras. Dado que este modelo se ha desarrollado y probado principalmente en regiones occidentales, no est\u00e1 claro si estos resultados se aplican a otras regiones. Para ello, hemos reproducido la metodolog\u00eda de Oosterhof y Todorov en 11 regiones del mundo, 41 pa\u00edses y 11.570 participantes. Cuando utilizamos la estrategia de an\u00e1lisis original de Oosterhof y Todorov, el modelo de valencia-dominancia se generaliz\u00f3 en todas las regiones. Cuando utilizamos una metodolog\u00eda alternativa para tener en cuenta las dimensiones correlacionadas, observamos una generalizaci\u00f3n mucho menor. En conjunto, estos resultados sugieren que, aunque el modelo de valencia-dominancia se generaliza muy bien entre las regiones cuando se fuerza a que las dimensiones sean ortogonales, las diferencias regionales se revelan cuando utilizamos diferentes m\u00e9todos de extracci\u00f3n y correlacionamos y rotamos la soluci\u00f3n de reducci\u00f3n de la dimensi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Lea el art\u00edculo <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41562-020-01007-2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">aqu\u00ed<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jones, B.
