{"id":322,"date":"2017-01-20T13:10:30","date_gmt":"2017-01-20T16:10:30","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/gobierno.udd.cl\/doctorado\/2017\/01\/20\/investigador-cics-presenta-prediccion-de-muertes-de-famosos-para-2017\/"},"modified":"2017-01-20T13:10:30","modified_gmt":"2017-01-20T16:10:30","slug":"investigador-cics-presenta-prediccion-de-muertes-de-famosos-para-2017","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gobierno.udd.cl\/dccs\/2017\/01\/20\/investigador-cics-presenta-prediccion-de-muertes-de-famosos-para-2017\/","title":{"rendered":"Investigador CICS presenta predicci\u00f3n de muertes de famosos para 2017"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/dccs.udd.cl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/Clipboard01-675x350.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"675\" height=\"350\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-1526\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Cristi\u00e1n Candia, actual candidato a doctor del Doctorado en Ciencias de la Complejidad Social e investigador joven del CICS <a href=\"http:\/\/macro.media.mit.edu\/2017\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">lanz\u00f3 una web<\/a> que analizando datos de Wikipedia busca entender mejor el fen\u00f3meno social de la muerte de personajes famosos durante 2016 y predecir el n\u00famero de estas muertes para el pr\u00f3ximo a\u00f1o.<\/p>\n<p>Candia, en conjunto con Cristi\u00e1n Jara investigador asistente del MIT Media Lab y C\u00e9sar Hidalgo, l\u00edder del grupo Macro Connections del mismo laboratorio se interesaron en estudiar el hecho de que para muchas personas el a\u00f1o reci\u00e9n pasado fue especialmente duro en relaci\u00f3n a la cantidad de referentes culturales que dejaron de existir.<\/p>\n<p>Para responder a la pregunta si efectivamente 2016 fue un a\u00f1o especialmente \u201cmort\u00edfero\u201d, Candia et al partieron operacionalizando la fama, defiendo a las personas famosas como aquellas que tuviesen al menos 20 entradas de Wikipedia en diferentes idiomas.  Sobre esta base, adem\u00e1s construyeron una distinci\u00f3n de niveles de fama entre los m\u00e1s famosos \u2013 sobre 70 entradas Wikipedia- y categor\u00edas menores como quienes tienen sobre 20, 35 y 50.<br \/>\nCon esta informaci\u00f3n construyeron una l\u00ednea de tendencia desde el a\u00f1o 2000 al 2016, mostrando que en t\u00e9rminos generales, este \u00faltimo a\u00f1o no fue particularmente letal para los famosos.<br \/>\nSin embargo, cuando analizaron los datos s\u00f3lo de los \u201cs\u00faper famosos\u201d, efectivamente el 2016 fue particularmente da\u00f1ino: casi el doble de personas en esta categor\u00eda murieron ese a\u00f1o, pasando de 9 en el 2015 a 17 en el 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s de esta pregunta central, los investigadores analizaron los n\u00fameros de muertes de famosos seg\u00fan su nivel de fama, \u00e1reas de desempe\u00f1o \u2013 artistas, pol\u00edticas, deportistas, cient\u00edficas, humanistas-, y a\u00f1o de nacimiento, concluyendo que, debido a la masificaci\u00f3n de la informaci\u00f3n producida por las TICs debemos esperar cada vez m\u00e1s muertes de referentes culturales hasta un punto en que se deber\u00eda estabilizar el n\u00famero total de muertos famosos.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El sitio busca entender mejor el fen\u00f3meno social de la muerte de personajes famosos.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":0,"featured_media":323,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[107],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-322","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-noticias"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.9 -
