target=\"_blank\">Jos\u00e9 de la Cruz Garrido<\/a> del Centro de Pol\u00edticas P\u00fablicas (CPP) de la Facultad de Gobierno de la UDD expusieron en el Seminario de la <a href=\"http:\/\/fppchile.org\/es\/\" target=\"_blank\">Fundaci\u00f3n para el Progreso<\/a> (FPP) sobre Pobreza y Desigualdad. Para la instancia actu\u00f3 de moderador Iv\u00e1n Cachanosky, investigador de la FPP.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Palacios expuso la robusta evidencia que muestra el efecto que ha tenido del crecimiento econ\u00f3mico en todas las variables macro y microecon\u00f3micas de Chile en los \u00faltimos 40 a\u00f1os: mayor equidad (GINI), el positivo efecto de las pol\u00edticas sociales en la distribuci\u00f3n, menor pobreza, entre otras, han sido una de los tantas consecuencias del crecimiento que se han visto reflejadas en Chile. \u00bfSignifica todo esto que la desigualdad no es relevante o que est\u00e1 superada por el crecimiento econ\u00f3mico?, fue la pregunta con la que cerr\u00f3 Palacios, para abrir el debate.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Garrido, por su parte, problematiz\u00f3 el dilema que se presenta hoy en diversos territorios de la ciudad de Santiago que est\u00e1n bajo el dominio narco. Desde esta casu\u00edstica, plante\u00f3 que la pobreza que all\u00ed se enfrenta no es la que t\u00edpicamente podemos describir desde un problema distributivo, sino m\u00e1s desde un problema de libertades.
