Three years ago, the Davis family established a lecture series to honor the legacy of “Toby” Davis. George Mason University was chosen for the inaugural and alternate years hosting because of the long and continuing close ties with GMU’s Nobel prizewinner, James M. Buchanan (Toby was Prof. Buchanan’s first official graduate student at the University of Virginia). This year\u00a0they are pleased to host the third in the series of lectures with Prof. Michael C. Munger, Director, Philosophy, Politics, and Economics Program at Duke University presenting “An Analytical Theory of Just Market Exchange” (coauthored with Ricardo Guzman, CICS researcher).\u00a0 A prolific writer, Dr. Munger’s book, Analyzing Policy: Choices, Conflicts, and Practices,<\/em> is a standard in the field of policy analysis.<\/p>\n

Tres a\u00f1os atr\u00e1s la familia Davis cre\u00f3 una serie de charlas en honor al legado de \u201cToby\u201d Davis. La Universidad de George Manson fue elegida como anfitriona debido a los estrechos v\u00ednculos con el ganador del Premio Nobel de Econom\u00eda, James M.
