{"id":2782,"date":"2017-02-03T17:10:39","date_gmt":"2017-02-03T20:10:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.complejidadsocial.udd.cl\/?p=2782"},"modified":"2017-02-03T17:10:39","modified_gmt":"2017-02-03T20:10:39","slug":"congress-of-the-future-closes-with-panel-composed-only-by-cics-researchers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gobierno.udd.cl\/cics\/2017\/02\/03\/congress-of-the-future-closes-with-panel-composed-only-by-cics-researchers\/","title":{"rendered":"Congress of the Future closes with panel composed only by CICS researchers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2783\" src=\"https:\/\/gobierno.udd.cl\/cics\/files\/2017\/02\/congresofuturo1-cics-650x488.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"650\" height=\"488\" \/><\/p>\n<p>he last panel of the 2017 edition of the Congress of the Future titled \u201cNature of frontiers, frontiers of nature\u201d was composed only by researchers from the Social Complexity Research Center: Carlos Rodr\u00edguez-Sickert, Director of CICS and Tamas David-Barret, International Fellow of the Center, will be part of the exhibitors, while Isabel Benhke, associate professor at CICS, will be the moderator.<\/p>\n<p>Last Saturday from 13:30 p.m, the Congress of the Future began its closure with a panel that explored the essence of frontiers in all of its forms, and how the same nature \u2013 including that which defines human beings \u2013 is also defined by varied types of frontiers.<\/p>\n<p>Carlos Rodr\u00edguez-Sickert addressed this problem by focusing on the boundaries between individuals and \u201cothers\u201d that determine, from biology and culture, the capabilities of cooperation between humans.
