After he completed his Dissertation he returned to the Universidad Cat\u00f3lica to accept a position at the Department of Sociology and became an International Fellow at the Santa Fe Institute. He currently works at the Faculty of Government at UDD. He is the Director of the PhD in Social Sciences that the UDD will inaugurate in 2013.
